MY LOVABLE FRIEND

I still remember the day I met her. She finished her E.S.L.C in her hometown. Then, she entered my school to continue her 9th standard here.

One day in a combined class, I met her. At that time, there was a need to learn an essay within that hour. But I had no one to study along with me. That’s the time I felt the meaning of friendship in my life. She entered my life to replace all my loneliness. That was the first time I talked to her but I felt as if she had been my close friend for more than 3 years. She was the FIRST FLOWER in my garden of FRIENDSHIP.

We gradually became very close to each other. I could see eyes which always lend love, a voice which never says no, hands which are ready to serve forever and a heart which always cares for me. She changed herself according to my likes and dislikes. She continued her studies in 11th std with me inspite of her father’s strict decision to make her study in a polytechnic college.

She guided me in my life and helped me to learn many. Once I expressed my ignorance about the latest technological development - the cell phone. To make me aware, she brought her father’s mobile after convincing her father.

After schooling, we parted ways, and she went to take up Teacher Training and on her encouragement and compulsion I took up Engineering. But I still remember those wonderful days and pleasant memories which I shall never forget in my life.
