My Life Long Love

Hi Friends,
At this moment, let me take you to the world of Love. For almost every one, their first and foremost love are their parents. I’m also one among these, but beyond the level of extremes.
Many people have entered my life occasionally and many have left, but right from my first breath, the one who finds the best place in my heart and who holds my hand to take me along the right path in this challenging world is my first love -“My Parents”.
At any instance, I never MISS them because, they are not people whom I love, but the soul where I live . They are the one who always see my actions and words in an optimistic way, who encourage me to take my steps forward and who shoulder me to face the troubles.
They are not the “GIFT OF GOD” to me but the “SOUL OF GOD” who is with me to bless forever. In my view, they are the ones whom I can describe with words of no letters.

Speciality of my hometown

Hi friends,
My hometown is not a city to speak about..but we all know the famous saying, "HUMBLE & SIMPLE IS THE TEMPLE OF GOD". My hometwon has the famous and world renowned "Arunachaleswarar Temple"~Tiruvannamalai.

Tiruvannamalai, the home of Annamalayaar or Arunachaleswarar (Shiva worshipped as a Shiva Lingam) and Unnamulaiyaal (Apitakuchambaal - Parvati), is one of the largest temples in India. It occupies a special place in the Saivite realm and is regarded as one of the Pancha Bhoota Stalams (one of the five grand temples associated with the five basic elements) – associated with the element Fire.

Shiva is said to have manifested himself in the form of a massive column of fire, whose crown and feet, Bhramma and Vishnu attempted in vain to reach. A celebration of this manifestation is seen today in the age old traditions observed in the Shivaratri and the Kartikai Deepam Utsavams held here.

The ancient and vast Arunachaleswarar Temple as it stands today is the result of several centuries of building, alteration and extension. A Nandi faces the main shrine in each of its five prakarams. The outermost prakaram houses the thousand pillared hall and the Shiva Ganga tank and is pierced on four sides with colossal Gopurams. There are kili gopuram, vallala gopuram, brahmma thirtham.

Several festivals dot the Tiruvannamalai temple town's calendar.Tiruvannamalai celebrates four annual Bhrammotsavams (10 day festivals) the most famous of which is the Kartikai .
The Arudra Darisanam in the month of Margazhi (Dec 15 through Jan 15) is a celebration of the cosmic dance of Shiva.

The celebration of Kartikai Deepam marks the conclusion of the ten day Bhrammotsavam in the month of Kartikai (Scorpio , Nov 15 through December 15). Crowds begin to throng the temple complex, and a discernible order prevails among the crowd as the tens of thousands gathered begin their patient wait for the auspicious moment when the Deepam celebration would reach its peak.

Friends, please visit the temple atleast once in life and you ll be blown away by the beauty of it....

GLOBAL CRISIS

My opinion deals with the situation which is prevailing in all the countries. This crisis happened right from the summer 2007, has been going on till now and it curtails the overall economy.

In my view, the elected senator of USA, Mr.Obama's words "ship out the job overseas" is averse to the growth of the Indian IT sector, because most of their projects deal with our (INDIA) country. His recent speech points out that companies outsourcing jobs overseas should pay attention to local investment. This protectionism tumbles both US and INDIAN economy.

In the circumstances, the national statistics says that there is a decline of 2.5% in UK's economic growth (from 2008 till now). Even countries with the privileges of technology and innovation , namely JAPAN and CHINA are facing global crisis. Their economy deals with strong exports . We know that these two countries export electronic cars and high quality goods. Since US consumers have stopped spending, it causes an adverse impact on their factories.

Although the global companies offer the best quality in exporting their goods, there is a fall in their sectors.
As a conclusion, my suggestions to overcome this is to conserve money, for example, allocating about $ 387 billions to the political sector in Mr.Obama's budget plan not an efficient one. Only, smooth dealing between the producers and consumers can elevate their economy.

BROTHER – A FRIEND FOREVER

There’s no other love like the love for a brother and there’s no other love like the love from a brother.
A Brother is a Friend given by nature. My brother was once a bother for me, but the distance between us now, makes me feel how much I miss him.
He shares all the childhood memories and grown up dreams. As we grew up, my brother acted like he didn’t care, but I always knew that he looked out for me and was there. He was there with me from the dawn of our personal stories to inevitable dusk.

He teaches me about fairness, co-operation, kindness, caring , quite often the hard way. To the outside world we grow old, but not to us. We know each other’s Heart. We share all our happenings, and we remember all our family feuds, griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time.
The Best thing about having a Brother is that, I always have a Friend.
Brother – “It is nice growing up with someone like you, someone to lean on, someone to count on, and someone to tell on”
Love you, Anto...

SMILE-BE COOL

SMILE-BE COOL

I have lot of problems in my life but I'm the happiest person in this world.Try this in your life too. Don't think about others and don't think about what the others think about you.

Life is very short , enjoy each and every moment, don't worry over silly matters.

The mind is like a garden- as you sow,so shall you reap. Laugh at work and be known as a positive achiever. Read more , learn more, laugh more, live more .

Associate only with positive focussed people from whom you can learn and who will not drain your valuable energy with complaining and uninspiring attitudes.

If you conquer your mind, you conquer the world. Never complain. Don't fear about any problem. All problems have some solution, so face it with a cute smile, not with the sad thoughts;at last you will win.

BE COOL and make all of them cool till your deathbed.

PARAM INDIA'S FIRST SUPER COMPUTER

During early 1980's USA restricted the share of the knowledge about super computer this forced the INDIAN scientist to develop the indigenous super computer PARAM for the scientific purpose.
PARAM super computer was designed by the center for development of advanced computing(C-DAC) in pune,INDIA.The PARAM 10000 was the first TFLOPS computer.

The major applications of PARAM 10000 are in long-range weather forecasting, remote sensing, drug design and molecular modelling. PARAMs in the future may well be used for India's space programme. Plans to use it for oil and gas exploration are also on the line.

The PARAM is used in almost all major scientific research institutes in India. It has also been exported to countries like Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and South Korea.

Hardware Resources:
Configuration : 54 Nos. of 4-Way SMP nodes and 1 No. of 32-Way SMP node.
No. of Processors : 248 (Power 4@1GHz).
Aggregate Memory : 0.5 TeraBytes (@ 8GB per node and 64GB per large SMP node).
Internal Storage : 4.5 TeraBytes (@ 72GB per node and 576GB per large SMP node).
Operating System : AIX 5L .
Aggregate Peak Computing Power : 1005 GFs (~1 TF).

The PARAM development shows that we are not inferior to any country in the world in any fields.Proud to be INDIAN!!!

Chandrayaan-1 Mission Sequence

Chandrayan-1 spacecraft was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SHAR, Sriharikota by PSLV-XL (PSLV-C11) on 22 October 2008 at 06:22 hrs IST in an highly elliptical initial orbit (IO) with perigee (nearest point to the Earth) of 255 km and an apogee (farthest point from the Earth) of 22,860 km, inclined at an angle of 17.9 deg to the equator. In this initial orbit, Chandrayaan orbited the Earth once in about six and a half hours.

• Subsequently, the spacecraft's Liquid Apogee Motor (LAM) firing was done on 23 October at 09:00 hrs IST, when the spacecraft was near perigee, to raise the apogee to 37,900 km while the perigee to 305 km. The spacecraft took eleven hours to go round the Earth once.

• The orbit was further raised to 336 km x 74,715 km on 25 October at 05:48 hrs IST. In this orbit, spacecraft took about twenty-five and a half hours to orbit the Earth once.

• The LAM was fired again on 26 October at 07:08 hrs IST to take the Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft to extremely high elliptical orbit with apogee 164,600 km and perigee at 348 km. Chandrayaan-1 took about 73 hours to go round the Earth once.

• On 29 October, orbit raising was carried out at 07:38 hrs IST to raise the apogee to 267,000 km and perigee to 465 km. Chandrayaan’s present orbit extends more than half the way to moon and takes about six days to orbit the Earth.

• On 4 November at 04:56 hrs IST, Chandrayaan entered the Lunar Transfer Trajectory with an apogee of 380,000 km.

• On 8 November at 16:51 hrs IST, the spacecraft’s Liquid engine was fired to reduce its velocity to insert the spacecraft in the lunar orbit (LOI) and enable lunar gravity to capture it. As a result, the spacecraft was in an elliptical orbit with periselene (nearest point to the moon) of 504 km and aposelene (farthest point from the moon) of 7,502 km.

• The first orbit reduction manoeuvre was carried out successfully on 9 November at 20:03 hrs IST. Thus the spacecraft was in lunar orbit with 200 km periselene. The aposelene remains unchanged (i.e 7,502 km).

• After careful and detailed observation, a series of three orbit reduction manoeuvres were successfully carried out and the spacecraft’s orbit was reduced to its intended operational 100 km circular polar orbit on November 12.

• On 14 November at 20:06 hrs IST, the Moon Impact Probe (MIP) was ejected from the Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft and hard landed on the lunar surface near the South Polar Region at 20:31 hrs IST after 25 minutes journey. It placed the Indian tricolour, which was pasted on the sides of MIP, on the Moon.

• Currently, the scientific instruments/payloads are being commissioned sequentially and exploration of Moon with the array of onboard instruments have begun.

Place to Place

I am Murugan from Hogenakkal. I wish to share something about my home town with you all.

Hogenakkal Waterfalls, the 'Niagara' of India, offers a promising holiday destination for nature lovers.

Hogenakal Falls is a beautiful water falls in the state of Tamilnadu and is a good Picnic spot. Its water is supposed to have curative powers. This beautiful, smoking waterfall is 40 km from Dharmapuri and 180 km from Bangalore towards Salem. Here the Cauvery River enters the plains and the river dashing against the rocks is a great sight.

Hogenakkal is a riverside spa where, according to its devotees, good health can be had for the asking. The sound of the Cauvery, roaring between rocky banks, is a constant presence in most places in Hogenakkal. The river, here flows through a wooded valley, splitting and merging and splitting again around rocks, and little islands with towering trees, and boulder-strewn out crops, which are covered only when the river is in spate with the rains of the monsoon.

People cross the current-rippled waters in circular basket boats covered in buffalo hide or plastic. They are called catamarans or coracles.

We Ae Watching You...

hi CSE Bloggers... This Technical Thriller Treat(4Ts) is for you...
Digital Fortress, a techno-thriller novel by Da-vinci code fame "Dan Brown". The American wrote the novel and released it in 1998 through St.Martin's Press. The book has got the International Standards Book Number : ISBN 0-312-26312-0
This book deals with issues of civil rights, privacy from your government and the right to privacy in the internet. There are many discussions in the book concerning whether or not having access to everyone's information in order to secure their safety is ethical.
The novel is based on the history of cryptography. In 1976 the Data Encryption Standard (DES) was approved with a 56-bit key rather than the 64-bit key originally proposed. It was widely reckoned that the National Security Agency(NSA) had pushed through this reduction in security on the assumption that it could crack codes before anyone else.In fact the DES was first publicly broken in 1997, 96 days after the first of the DES Challenges. In 1998, the same year as Digital Fortress was published, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (featured in the book) built a piece of hardware costing less than $250,000 called the EFF DES cracker which broke it in 56 hours.
Susan Fletcher, a brilliant mathematician and head of the National Security Agency's (NSA's) cryptography division, finds herself faced with an unbreakable code named "Digital Fortress", that TRANSLTR cannot break. TRANSLTR is the NSA's 3 million processor supercomputer that can crack encrypted data using the brute force method in a short amount of time, with some codes broken in more than 3 hours, others within minutes. The code of "Digital Fortress" is written by Japanese cryptographer Ensei Tankado, a fired employee of the NSA, who is displeased with the agency's intrusion into people's privacy. Tankado posts a copy of Digital Fortress on his website, encrypted with itself. Tankado auctions the passkey to unlock the algorithm on his website, threatening that his accomplice "North Dakota" will release the algorithm for free if he dies. Tankado is found dead in Seville, Spain. Fletcher, along with her fiancé, David Becker, a skilled linguist with eidetic memory, must find a solution to stop the spread of the code.
The brute force search used by TRANSLTR is a search algorithm that takes twice time as long for each extra bit added to the key, so the reaxn of the industry has understandably been to lengthen the key. The Advanced Encryption Standard established in 2001 uses 128, 192 or 256 bits, which take at least 10^21 times as long to solve the code by this technique.
THe solution is The code that appears in the end of the book 128-10-93-85-10-128-98-112-6-6-25-126-39-1-68-78 and the resulting text is WECGEWHYAAIORTNU. this is arranged in a method called "ceaser square", a columnar transposition cipher code as this... W E C G
E W H Y
A A I O
R T N U the code is read top down and by adding white spaces at right places the code can be generated and the Solution to break the code is "We Are Watching You". V.Srinivasan

LOVE FOR MY PARENTS

I am very glad to introduce my parents to you. They are my life givers. I am proud to be their son.
They sacrifice their pleasures .I haven't selected any role model from the outside world. My parents are only my role modes. They deal with me in a friendly manner.
In my village there are no educated people, but my parents have struggled hard to educate me. I have to cite an example of how my parents encouraged me, actually my father is a fisherman by profession. I would like to go with my father to sea to help him but he would reject me saying “You should study well”. He had the feeling that his son should not encounter any problem while coming to sea; he didn’t allow us to come with him because he thought his son should not face such a trouble. My mother also cooperates with him. He returns home at late night only .She helps him to anchor the boats.
I am gifted to have both of them as my parents. I pray to god to make the same parents as my parents for my forthcoming lives.

BALAMURUGAN

MY FIRST LOVE

I first met her at a hospital in Kanchepuram.I was alone and was facing some serious problem.I did not actually know how I was admitted there. The entire arena was new.I could hear the doctor say,"He will be all right soon".

I looked through the window and found everyone unknown.I just started crying aloud.

It was then,I met HER for the first time. She touched me and kissed me on my forehead. She tried to console me.I felt comfortable in her arms. She was all I knew that time, and nothing else........

She then introduced me to a number of her relatives.I could not actually understand why this lady was caring so much. Then I understood, that it was "LOVE".

I started loving her.I still love her not for 4 years,5 years,6 years but for 21 years.Long live "Mom".

Mom, I Love you.
